The context

La Boîte Immo builds the software real-estate professionals run on: agency websites, a CRM, business tools. Hektor, whose mobile app I lead, is their day-to-day field tool.

I own Hektor's mobile application end-to-end: the Capacitor / Angular interface, the native iOS and Android features, and the GraphQL / REST APIs and Symfony services behind them. I take on complex business problems and early proofs of concept, and carry them through to production.

What the role covers

  • Mobile architecture — Angular 20 / Ionic 8 / Capacitor 7, restructured from legacy foundations into an atomic design, with native iOS and Android modules
  • Telephony integrated into the CRM — a solo POC industrialized into a multi-tenant service, with recording, transcription and AI-driven CRM actions
  • Native features across iOS and Android — Live Activities, widgets, push — beyond a hybrid shell
  • Mobile back-end — GraphQL / REST APIs and multi-tenant Symfony services, on PHP 7.4 · 8.4 and Symfony 5.4 · 7.4
  • Broad Vitest coverage, release ownership, code reviews and tech-debt reduction

R&D and foundational projects

From POC to product, solo

The new and the uncertain reach me first: I rough it out alone, POC in hand, to clear the unknowns — then carry the build all the way to a shipped product the team can extend.

Architecture built from zero

Mobile front-end, back-end and APIs, native iOS and Android integrations, in-app telephony, authentication and compliance — designed from a blank page.

FromdevelopertoTechLead

From a 2018 internship at La Boîte Immo to the Tech Lead Mobile role that brought me back — by way of a SaaS I carried for four and a half years.

Technical owner of Hektor's mobile application — the CRM real-estate agents use in the field. I run the mobile scope end-to-end — architecture, native integrations, the mobile back-end, product decisions and releases — and mentor a junior developer.

Frominterfacetoinfrastructure

From the agent's screen to the cloud behind it, I work at every layer of the stack.

The surface the agent interacts with — a considered design system, native-feeling gestures and accessibility that holds up in the field.

The field app used by La Boîte Immo's real-estate agents: a complex hybrid platform with genuine native capabilities on iOS and Android. Here is what it is built from.

Mobile architecture

A sizeable Angular codebase that I moved from legacy foundations to an atomic architecture — fast, readable and tested, with reactive state and a clean Capacitor boundary.

Native capabilities

Real native features on both platforms: Live Activities on iOS, ongoing notifications on Android, widgets and push notifications.

Back-end & APIs

The typed contract between the application and the multi-tenant Symfony back-end — GraphQL and REST, server-side push, and a codebase that spans legacy PHP 7.4 / Symfony 5.4 through to current PHP 8.4 and Symfony 7.4.

Telephony,insidetheHektorapp

It started as a proof of concept I built alone: voice calling inside the Hektor mobile app. Calls ring and are answered in the app, like on WhatsApp — but the call becomes an extension of the CRM, which identifies the caller, brings up their record, then triggers recording, transcription and AI-driven CRM actions. Behind it, a dedicated multi-tenant service — Twilio, number provisioning, regulatory compliance, real-time voice with an AI fallback — separate from the CRM and connected through a well-defined API.

What the agent gets

  • Caller identified on pickup, with a CRM summary — no manual lookup
  • In-app inbound & outbound calls, mute · speaker · hang up, live timer
  • A pinned call bar that lets the agent keep working across the app
  • The full contact record, one tap away
  • Recording and transcription, automatic when the call ends
  • The AI then runs the CRM actions — with no input from the agent
  • Notes attached straight to the record

Live Activities & updates

Live, glanceable state on the lock screen — Live Activities on iOS, live and ongoing notifications on Android.

Home-screen widgets

Glanceable data on the home screen — WidgetKit on iOS, App Widgets on Android.

Push & silent push

Foreground and background updates via APNs and FCM.

Native modules

Swift and Kotlin modules bridged cleanly into the Capacitor runtime — for the features that need real system access.

Background & shared state

Notification Service Extensions and App Groups on iOS, with their Android counterparts, for shared state updated in the background.

Dynamic Island

The iOS signature: compact, minimal and expanded presentations for live sessions.

Engineeringisalsoaboutpeople

Owning a mobile scope is as much trade-offs, mentoring and delivery as it is code. Six responsibilities beyond writing features.

01

Architecture

Technical decisions and trade-offs for the mobile scope — and the direction the codebase should take.

02

Mentoring

Guiding a junior developer, running code reviews and defining the best practices the team writes by.

03

Product

Product and technical decisions made together — turning proofs of concept into products worth shipping.

04

Delivery

Ownership of mobile releases — App Store and Play Store — and of cross-team communication.

05

Quality

Performance, best practices and steady reduction of technical debt — the quiet work that sustains velocity.

06

Autonomy & pragmatism

Taking work from a vague idea to production without supervision — and choosing the solution that ships value over the one that looks perfect on paper.
